I bought about 500 of Ms Hill's photos from her estate.
Caption on the back of the picture reads "City Transit Co. trolley bus 445, built by Pullman in 1947, is seen laying over on Shedborne Road between Spiece and Burkhardt (background) Avenue, the eastern terminus of route 2 at 4:31.
As a trolley car route, 2 did not make the 1 1/4 mile loop, but terminated at Smithville Road." July 11, 1972
